Biography

Suzi Endo

Suzi Endo’s earliest recorded activity connected her to advanced cybernetic sciences, where her genius in biotechnology and digital integration drew the attention of powerful forces. Initially known for her research in applied cybernetics, her work brought her into contact with both heroes and villains who sought to manipulate her skills for their own agendas. Her talents made her a target for recruitment, but it was her ambition and drive for progress that set her apart, leading her further into the world of post-human experimentation and transformation. (Avengers Annual v1 #23)

Tony Stark came to visit Stark Enterprises Hong Kong division which was when Suzi Endo showed him holo-displays of her work. (Marvel Comics Presents v1 #170) Workers in the SE cybernetics division alerted Suzi to the loss of contact with China. She observed that there was no electromagnetic activity on the mainland at all. Then the lights went out as the Avatars attacked Hong Kong. Suzi ordered an evacuation, and sent a call for help, which was received by Stark Enterprises and relayed to Force Works. (Force Works v1 #6) As the Avatars attacked SE HK, Suzi hid in the sub-basement, emerging an hour later to find the building in ruins, and her work destroyed. Suzi watched Force Works defeat and chase off the Avatars. (Marvel Comics Presents v1 #170) Stark and Force Works arrived at SE HK, and found Suzi unconscious. After she recovered, she directed Stark to the building’s commlink, before being checked for injuries by Su Yin. (War Machine v1 #10) Iron Man and Su Yin brought Suzi in on their plan to create a techno-organic virus to defeat the Mandarin. Stark trusted her with his secret ID. Afer the Mandarin was defeated, she sought Stark’s signature on papers needed to get the cybernetics division back in order. When War Machine thought he recognised the Chu-janitor, she claimed to have only hired him that day. (Iron Man v1 #312) Suzi returned a call from Stark, accepting an offer of a new job, telling him she would be on the next flight to LA. (Force Works v1 #16) Suzi arrived in LA, she was watched from the shadows by Cybermancer. (Iron Man v1 #321) Cybermancer in reality was from an alternate future who attacked Endo and took her captive. The real Suzi was put in stasis and placed in Force Works sub-basement and Cybermancer took her place pretending to be her. (Force Works v1 #17)

After the other members of Force Works defeated Iron Man and Cybermancer, they freed Suzi from stasis and introduced her to her possible future self. She had a long conversation with her other self who told her that she also would become like her and she couldn't do anything to change it. At the same time at the tech lab the time portal was suddenly re-opened, and two of the techno-Suzi's associates came through looking for her - the extremely dangerous and highly-evolved Ultron and her mechanoid lover, Simon Williams. (Force Works v1 #21) Liberating her from her prison, the three foreign entities went in search of the Cybermancer suit, but the real Suzi took it from its storage container in order to keep it out of her wicked twin's hands. Force Works was told that the alternate timeline from which techno-Suzi came was completely destroyed, and Force Works decided that they would try to help them survive on their Earth. The damage was too great, however, because the still opened gateway took back what was originally from that world and claimed the lives of the evil Suzi and Ultron. In an attempt to close the portal and stop the destruction, techno-Simon Williams sacrificed himself by diving back into the dimensional doorway. It wasn't enough to seal it shut, but the real Suzi showed up with the Cybermancer armor and used the costume's gauntlet to remote control the suit and send it back where it came from to permanently seal the portal. The threat was averted, and Suzi was left with a piece of the Cybermancer armor which she said she would reverse engineer. (Force Works v1 #22)

Her activities escalated once she crossed paths with the High Evolutionary, whose vision of guiding evolution to a higher order aligned with her own desire to push beyond human limitations. Recognizing her intellect and potential, the High Evolutionary inducted Suzi into his service, not merely as a scientist but as a chosen Herald tasked with advancing his mission across the cosmos. She accepted, seeing the role as an opportunity to transcend mortality and to participate in shaping the very destiny of life. Under his guidance, she underwent a profound transformation, fusing her cybernetic expertise with the High Evolutionary’s evolutionary science. As a Herald, Suzi Endo became a direct agent of the High Evolutionary, carrying out his will with a blend of technological prowess and evolved enhancements. She was dispatched to enforce his schemes on both planetary and interstellar stages, acting as an enforcer as well as an emissary. In her service, she demonstrated a capacity for both destructive force and the application of advanced bio-technological control, using her abilities to reshape environments and to subdue resistance. This made her a formidable presence among the High Evolutionary’s followers, both feared and respected as the fusion of human ingenuity and evolutionary ascension. (Silver Surfer Annual v6 #6)
