Talk:Chronological Transformers Marvel
FAQ
There are bound to be reoccuring questions about the list so here are some answers to those questions
Why has the GI JOE crossover been included when it is not part of the British comic?
Yes it is not part of the British comic but it is a waste four stories. If you want to exclude them that is up to you the reader. The only problem this causes is that we must assume that Bumblebee is already Goldbug in the Death’s Head saga. This isn’t too painful as they drew Goldbug wrong in ‘Mechanical Difficulties’ anyway. Also sometimes characters are drawn like the toys, sometimes like the cartoons. So you can’t take what you see too literally.
Wasn’t ‘Big Broadcast of 2006’ supposed to be a made up story by Wreck Gar?
Yes it was but after ‘Time wars’ the Dark universe is created. This story can take place for real in this universe. Otherwise it would be a wasted story.
How was this list constructed?
Well I have tried to be as unbiased as possible. There is no official correct order. I used the order they were printed in as a default. I have included all the stories in one timeline as far as possible. I have included all the stories so it is neither the pure American or British version.
How do you know what happened between Gen 1 and Gen 2?
It is an educated guess. I have only stated what must have happened based on flashbacks and working backwards. If the comic had continued, events would have led to a massive battle in issue 100. Presuming the stories would all be American, the European toy range for 1991-1992 would have been excluded. The Nucleon plotline continuation I wrote was inspired by the cartoon ‘The Golden Lagoon’.
Is the Marvel Comic Transformer series part of the Marvel universe?
The Marvel universe consists of a multi-verse of alternate realities. The main reality is Earth 616. The main Marvel Transformers comic universe is set in a different reality .i.e. the GI:Joe reality. However the new IDW comic is part of Earth 616.
