Talon is a female villain who features in Static Shock.

Biography

After Ebon has abducted Derek Barnett a.k.a. D-Struct. She is next seen flying behind Static and knocking him off his flying disk and confronting him with Shiv, and D-Struct, before Ebon abducts Static. when Ebon introduces Talon he calls her "our little Turtledove"; when Static refused, she said "Just because that gas didn't mess up your face doesn't mean you're not a freak like us". Later led by Ebon, Talon, Shiv and D-Struct are robbing a sports store when Static intervenes but Ebon orders D-Struct to blast Static, and the Meta-Breed gets away with the money. When Static tracks down the Meta-Breed's location and convinces D-Struct to return home; the rest of the Meta-Breed follow to stop them escaping Talon get shocked out of the back a train car by Static. She was next with the Meta-Breed in robbing a shopping mall and when she tries to attack Static he captures her instead; leading Ebon to get payback on Static.

She was with Shiv in observing Aqua-Maria's attempted robbery at a huge racing track but were both under orders from Ebon that Aqua-Maria was on her own and were not allowed to help her. They both later report back to Ebon that Aqua-Maria failed and that Rubber-Band Man was the one that stopped her. Later Talon, Shiv and Carman-Dillo break in and try to rob an electronics store when we first see her hyper-sonic shriek; Static and Rubber-Band Man come to stop them. Talon, Shiv and Carman-Dillo are arrested, but are broken out of jail, along with Aqua-Maria by Ebon disguised as Rubber-Band Man, but are all later arrested again. Talon was recruited by the Joker into his own gang of teenaged Bang-Babies, after going against Static, Batman and Robin; she is captured by Robin. Talon was alongside Ebon, Shiv and Kangorr as they break out of jail. Static goes after them. Richie Foley is watching and Ebon recognizes him and thinks he has something to do with Static. He has his gang follow Richie around town. Ebon then had his gang attack and abduct Virgil Hawkins who he correctly suspected of really being Static. Richie Foley tracks them down - messes with the surveillance at their hideout - an abandoned Juvenile detention hall, making them all think that they are seeing Static on another monitor when at the same time Virgil is trapped in a padded cell.

Talon along with Hot-Streak and Ebon were abducted by Leach so he can absorb their powers from them; he wants Static's as well and mistakes Lil Romeo in costume for Static. When Leach was stopped, Talon, Hot-Streak and Ebon were all taken back to jail plus the Leach. She later appears again one of the Bang-Babies busted out of jail by Madelyn Spaulding and her newfound Telekinesis; with Hot-Streak and Ebon teaming up together for payback on Static, Gear and She-Bang. Talon was also one of the Bang-Babies who were abducted by Edwin Alva, Sr. in an effort to harness their Meta-Human energy to restore his son Edwin Alva, Jr. After his son was restored to normal, Edwin Alva. Sr allowed Talon and Hot-Streak to take a hovercraft back to Dakota. Talon was one of the Bang-Babies to restored to normal by a cure made by scientist's from Big-Bang-Gas. Once human again she implys that while she was mutated her personality had changed, and likens being cured to waking up from a nightmare. She agrees to help Static and Gear stop Ebon from becoming a Meta-Human again after Ebon kidnaps her.

Originally, she was a teenage girl until she was transformed into a Bang Baby where she was covered in orange feathers, she has claws and talons and she has wings attached to her arms from her shoulder blades - with which she can fly with, and she emit a destructive hyper-sonic shriek with her voice.

Notes

  • Talon was an original creation of the Static Shock animated series and was not present in the comics.
