History
Wildstorm
Team 7
Craven drops a nuclear bomb on the team to see if their powers will allow them to survive. Cray is arrested by the Navy, but he holds a ship captain hostage to warn his friends. They walk away unharmed from the explosion, and only Lynch decides to stay with the government. Cray is imprisoned for mutiny, and the rest of the team go into hiding in Nicaragua. (Team 7 v1 #4)
Post-Flashpoint
Following the Flashpoint, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events.
The team's known members were Steve Trevor, the Justice League's liaison, and Kurt Lance, the thought-to-be-murdered husband of Black Canary (Dinah Drake), and Suicide Squad leader Amanda Waller. Current roster includes mentioned above Steve Trevor and Amanda Waller, as well as Alex Fairchild, Grifter (Cole Cash), John Lynch, and Deathstroke (Slade Wilson).

- Team 7 was created by Chuck Dixon and Aron Wiesenfeld where they made their first appearance in Team 7 v1 #1 (October, 1994).
Alternate Versions
- In Flashpoint: Lois Lane and the Resistance v1 #2 (2011), an alternate version of Team 7 appeared in the Flashpoint reality. An alternate version of Team 7, now led by Grifter, appeared in the Flashpoint universe. This version consisted mainly of superheroes who had ties to the military in the DC Universe, but here were simply shown to be regular soldiers, albeit with outfits that resembled their superhero costumes. Most of the team were killed during a battle against a terrorist camp, though Grifter was saved by Penny Black. This led to Grifter leaving the military and ultimately becoming the leader of the Resistance, a rebel group formed to oppose the Amazons after they invaded the U.K.

Television
- In Arrow, Team 7 was referenced in the setting of the live-action television series set in the Arrowverse where they were mentioned in the episode "Betrayal". Team 7 were mentioned in the episode "Betrayal" as an ASIS unit. So far the only members are Slade Wilson and Billy Wintergreen. Amanda Waller, Detective Lance and Dinah Drake had also appeared in the show but not as members of the team.
