Overview

On Battleworld, the Corps served as the primary enforcers of the law of Doctor Doom after he had created a world consisting of various realities merged together across the Multiverse.

Only those that were declared to be Worthy were allowed to wield the hammer. (Thors v1 #1)

A hierarchy followed by this version of the Corps included:

  • Berserker : a lower ranked position. (Thors v1 #1)
  • Lawspeaker : leader of the Thor Corps. (Thors v1 #1)

These Thors followed the Code of the Hammer that required them to put things right for deceased victims. In some cases, their investigations could bring about an Allthing that was code for a case that could spiral into importance that would bring the attention of God Doom. Such events could lead to the master of Battleworld intervening directly and could lead to the Thors on the case being stripped of their hammers. (Thors v1 #1)
