Biography
Thrakhath nar Kiranka was a male member of the Kilrathi race born in 2624 as the youngest son of Prince Gilkarg nar Kiranka and part of clan Kiranka . As a child of the royal family, he was given the title of Crown Prince of the Kilrathi Empire and third in line of succession. When Lord Vakka showed skepticism at the new campaign against the Terran Confederation, Thrakhath showed his ruthlessness when he insisted the Baron be executed for his views. In 2634, his brother was killed at the Battle of McAullife leading to Thrakhath gaining prominence as an heir to the family.
Later, in 2655, Thrakhath's father was assigned to the a strike force headed by the KIS Sivar with the entire fleet being lost in a prolonged operation against the TCS Tiger's Claw. For this loss, he was executed by the Emperor as punishment for his failure leading to Thrakath being elevated to the position of Crown Prince and immediate heir to the throne. In that same year, the Kilrathi invaded the Firekka System which was going to host their annual Sivar-Eshrad Ceremony with Crown Prince Thrakhath being among the overseers of the invasion. During this time, the Confederation came to launch Operation Crusade that was an effort to liberate the system and it being headed by the TCS Tiger's Claw. The Crown Prince came to be incensed at the Terran's attempts at resisting their invasion and sent a message to the humans which was either they departed Firekka immediately or face total annihilation for disrupting the Way of Lord Sivar. Despite this warning, the Terrans continued their assault where Confederation Marines and Firekka warriors helped disrupt the ceremony. This led to Thrakhath giving another warning as he threatened to exterminate all life on the planet's surface. Despite, the Confederation maintained their onslaught with them and the Firekkans prevailing in the battle leading to the Kilrathi abandoning the system altogether.
Though his bullheaded leadership style led to early successes against the Confederation, it faltered as Thrakkath came up against Rear Admiral Geoffrey Tolwyn, who easily proved Thrakkath's match, in both obstinance and strategy. By 2667 and the Battle of Vukar Tag the tide was turning against the Kilrathi, with Thrakkath continually snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Stories of his incompetence spread, and the Prince who once drove the Confederation from Enigma Sector became known as an inept buffoon. Assassination attempts, both on him and the Emperor, became commonplace, one of which was organized by his one-time advisor Baron Jukaga. By mid-2669 the Kilrathi had recovered from their losses of the previous year. With his rebuilt battle fleet, and facing a Confederation greatly weakened by the Battle of Earth, Thrakkath seemed on the verge of victory. In one stroke. he would redeem his clan's honor and wipe out his hated enemy. However, Thrakkath was killed on 2669.267 by Colonel Christopher Blair, and his home planet, the seat of Imperial power, died shortly thereafter.
Overview
Personality and attributes
He was shown to demonstrate nothing but scorn to those that he deemed to be unworthy. Such foes were seen to be treated as maggots and disposed of in an honourless manner such as through disintegration. However, certain enemies that earned his respect saw Thrakhath provide them the 'honour' of a warriors death.
The young prince proved to be a tenacious, ruthless commander who often demanded zu'kara (ritual suicide) from those who failed to live up to his high standards. He shunned desk jobs, preferring to lead his war armada from the front. On many occasions, he regularly took to space in his custom-built Bloodfang fighter. He never truly respected his foes, regarding humanity as food-prey unworthy of the honor of battle.
Powers and abilities
As a Kilrathi, Thrakhath nar Kiranka had many of the traits inherent in his species including greater physical strength when compared to humans. He also possessed sharp claws that he could use to tear into the flesh of an opponent or rip their guts out.
