Biography

Travis Touchdown (Japanese: トラヴィス・タッチダウン, Hepburn: Toravisu Tacchidaun)

Touchdown arrived at a luxurious, modern estate built directly over a coastal cliffside in Santa Mondega to engage the United Assassins Association's tenth-ranked killer, a wealthy blonde swordsman known as Death Metal. Navigating past waves of armed suit-wearing bodyguards stationed throughout the villa, Travis Touchdown breached the main terrace where Death Metal was relaxing. Death Metal expressed severe disdain for Travis Touchdown's amateur otaku background, prompting a high-intensity duel where Death Metal utilized a localized mirage ability to manifest tangible physical clones of himself to overwhelm his challenger. Travis Touchdown resisted the optical illusions, continuously recharged his battery-operated beam katana, and successfully cornered the veteran assassin against the balcony railing, ultimately executing Death Metal by slicing through his neck before Sylvia Christel arrived to record the operational rank advancement. Travis accepted an off-duty freelance extermination gig at a localized municipal warehouse facility to earn the mandatory administrative registration fees required to book his next sanctioned United Assassins Association ranking match. Upon clearing the structural entry points, Travis Touchdown discovered that the industrial complex had been entirely overtaken by a heavily armed corporate militia unit known as the Gray Wolves, who were actively utilizing the site to store illicit military-grade ordnance. Operating under a strict time constraint, Travis Touchdown executed continuous tactical barrel rolls to evade incoming automatic rifle fire while using horizontal slash patterns to cut through the entire mercenary garrison. After eliminating the final waves of hostiles, Travis Touchdown successfully secured the designated perimeter, collected his cash payment from a mysterious corporate courier, and returned to his motel room to deposit the funds into an automated ATM network terminal.

Overview

Personality and attributes

In appearance, Travis Touchdown was a human male of Caucasian descent who possessed short, spiky brown hair, light skin, and a youthful but cynical facial expression. He stood at a height of six feet and zero inches with a lean, muscular, and athletic physical build that showed no outward signs of genetic mutations or cybernetic enhancement. His wardrobe consisted entirely of distinct, casual street fashion influenced by otaku and punk subcultures, featuring an unbuttoned red leather jacket worn over a white t-shirt that displayed a stylized anime graphic. He wore dark denim jeans held up by a heavy belt, white trainers, and a pair of dark designer sunglasses that he rarely removed even during indoor close-quarters combat. He carried his primary weapon, a sleek, metallic Beam Katana model known as the Blood Berry, which emitted a bright, crackling laser blade from its hilt when activated.

Powers and abilities

Travis Touchdown was born an ordinary member of the human race, which natively meant he possessed no inherent superpowers, biological augmentations, or magical traits, leaving his body vulnerable to standard mortal injuries and firearms. However, Travis Touchdown was a highly exceptional human combatant who possessed peak human physical conditioning, remarkable agility, and an extraordinarily fast reaction time that allowed him to dodge automatic gunfire at close range. Through sheer self-taught dedication and the observation of wrestling tapes, he became a master of professional wrestling maneuvers, capable of executing devastating suplexes and powerbombs on armored opponents. His primary offensive capability relied on his absolute mastery of the Beam Katana, executing precise, high-speed sword styles to cleave through waves of armed bodyguards. Furthermore, Travis Touchdown possessed a unique tactical resourcefulness and an indomitable willpower that allowed him to rapidly analyze the highly eccentric combat styles of rival superhuman assassins and exploit their physical vulnerabilities mid-battle.
