Biography

Original Timeline

Tremor was a male human who was shown to had operated in Earthrealm.

According to his story, he was a member of the Lin Kuei at one time, only joining to gain powers for himself. Once he achieved his goal, he left the clan, and either joined or returned to the Black Dragon clan.

Tremor escaped from Special Forces custody during a prison break orchestrated by Kano, to whom he was blindly loyal. Kano assigned him to guard the portal to Outworld and kill any Special Forces agents that may have discovered his whereabouts. Tremor was defeated and killed by Major Jackson Briggs in their encounter.

Reboot Timeline

During the Armageddon, Shao Kahn ultimately won where all of creation faced destruction but during the last moments of Raiden he managed to his past experiences back to his younger self. This created a change in the timeline as the younger Raiden was guided by the scattered visions of the future where he sought to avert this dark future.

A recent mission seemed to have created much animosity in Tremor towards both Special Forces and Kano.

Tremor announces the Black Dragon's presence by slamming his fist into the floor of the ruined palace of Z'Unkahrah, tearing it apart with an earthquake; and successfully drawing the attention of Kotal Kahn and his warriors. Tremor joins with the united Black Dragon clan and Outworld forces in confronting the Shokan/Oni Warlord horde. When negotiations with Kintaro fail once again, Kano sends Tremor out alone to confront the army. Placing his hands on the ground, Tremor causes a massive quake that incapacitates the horde and allows Kano to wipe out half their numbers with a handheld nuke. After Kotal Kahn successfully sways Kintaro and the Shokan back to his side, Tremor stands with Kano, Jarek, and Tasia as the Black Dragon leader attempts to negotiate payment from the usurper. When Kotal attacks Kano for possessing his realm's treasure, the Portal Stone, Tremor threatens to bring down the palace if Kano is not released when his shoulder and arm are shot by Sonya Blade. Tremor is then captured and imprisoned alongside his comrades.

Within his non-canon Mortal Kombat X ending, Tremor was noted to had stood victorious over over Shinnok and reveled in his power. The Black Dragon were said to had been sent into the Dream Realm. Kano had sent Tremor's team there to retrieve a 'psych-bomb', to be used in Kano's theft of Shinnok's Amulet. Exposure to that realm had increased Tremor's power --and expanded his mind. He would evolve into an Earth elemental: a demi-god whose power would rival that of Raiden and Fujin.

Overview

Personality and attributes

In appearance, Tremor wore the typical ninja style garb and mask identical to the costumes worn by the recurring ninja characters of the series, only brown in coloration.

Powers and abilities

Tremor was noted to hold the power of an Earth elemental. With his powers, he could create earthquakes, form stone and lava projectiles and shape the ground to suit him. Tremor's power came from his superhuman strength, allowing him to shake the Earth and damage his opponents. Additionally, he was able to summon fireball projectiles at his opponent. While retaining his original abilities and traits of disrupting the Earth beneath him and others, Tremor's powers now affect other elements of the Earth. Not only is he able to summon rocks or enhance himself with rock formations on his body, Tremor has full control over other minerals such as golds, crystals, and magma, even to the point that Tremor is unaffected by the molten rock when it makes contact with his body. Tremor's control over these minerals is so deadly that he can even turn his opponents to stone, crystallize their body, turn them into gold or burn them to a crisp with magma.

In addition to his expanded abilities, Tremor's body is now coated in rock. His chest and arms are completely covered in stone, to the point that the formations have become is actual skin. Additionally, Tremor can use the formations just as he does with the Earth itself, forming rock from his bare hands and even changing them into weapons for him to use. With his manipulation of other minerals of the Earth, Tremor's rock skin can also change to gold, crystal and even magma, with the formations of molten rock causing no harm to his being. He is able to alter how his rock skin works, allowing him to change his fighting style to fight anyone that steps up to challenge Tremor.

Tremor had been a member of the Black Dragon crime syndicate and had formerly served as an enforcer for them.
