Biography

Hercules Tres Iques (Japanese: トレス・イクス) was a robotic entity who was created in the year 3036 AD as one of ten Killing Doll mechanical soldiers that were created by Vatican scientist Professor Gepetto Garibaldi. His purpose was to help in an attempted rebellion but was the only survivor of the group of machines as he was saved from destruction and recruited into the AX division by Cardinal Caterina Sforza. Once joining the branch of the Ministry of Holy Affairs, he was given the code name Gunslinger.

Overview

Personality and attributes

Though he appeared as a Human, Tres was in fact a complex mechanical lifeform who's designation was unit HC-IIIX. As a member of the Vatican, he was known to had gone by the code name of the Gunslinger.

Created to be a battle android, Father Tres often does not show emotion and speaks in a machine-like manner such as a monotone voice. However, he is relentlessly efficient in his tasks and functions are only limited by his combat situations. His expressions are often those that are what a computer would make such as asking comrades of their "status report" which was his why in assessing their physical status. To further this view, he often responded to questions with either the term "negative" or "positive".

Tres's programming is often rigid in the sense that he seeks to fulfil his duty and should comrades intervene in his task then he will fight them. However, there are times where he shows concerns for others, displays a sense of humor and even annoyance. Inqus has also shown to lie in order to cover the fact that he was deviating from his programming such as when he stated that he had run out of ammunition which prevented him from killing Elyse only to show himself shooting at a Methesulah that was attacking her.

One of the core aspects of Tres's programming and personality was his extreme loyalty to Cardinal Caterina. Father Nightroad even remarks that Tres often appears as if he was in a bad mood when travelling as half of him wished to remain in Rome to protect Cardinal Caterina.

Powers and abilities

Whilst labelled as a machine, Tres was in fact a complex cyborg who's body was composed of both organic as well as mechanical components. In order to maintain it, Iqus was required to take regular doses of vitams in order to keep his body functional. Despite the organic parts of his body, he was immune to attacks that would affect a flesh and blood person such as being immune to Elsye's contact telepathic touch.

His mechanical nature meant that he was capable of feats that were above that of a normal Human allowing him a great deal of flexibility on the battlefield. However, his true strength lay in the twin pistols he used with extreme accuracy allowing him to gun down numerous opponents with apparent ease. As part of his programming, Father Tres was capable of entering into Genocide Mode allowing him a greater capacity of inflicting damage against a wide range of opponents.
