Biography

Tubro

Cy-Kill, Cop-Tur, Crasher and Snoop attack Leader-1, Turbo, Scooter and Small Foot. Crasher wounds Small Foot. After attaining recordings of the Guardians the Renegades retreat. Using the recordings Cy-Kill has Herr Fiend program robot duplicates of the Guardians. When demonstrating Space Bender weapon to Unicom Leader-1 learns that the Renegades are attacking Washington. The Renegades ambush Leader-1 and replace him with his duplicate. Leading the Command Center back to Gobotron and getting rid of Scooter and Small Foot the Renegades then release duplicates of Path Finder, Rest-Q, Van Guard and Turbo. Small Foot and Scooter are able to capture the Turbo duplicate and learn where their friends were being held. Cy-Kill then replaces Good Night. Using the duplicate Turbo the Guardians infiltrated the Renegade base, free the captured Guardians and escape from Spoons and Fitor. Although blocked by the Renegades, Scooter uses a hologram of Zod to make the Renegades flee. Making it back to Gobotron the Guardians are attacked by the Guardian duplicates. The real Guardians are able to defeat their duplicates with the aid of the real Zeemon, Hans-Cuff and Rest-Q. Cy-Kill then arrives in Thrustor with more duplicates, but Small Foot is able to stop with robots using the Space Bender, which fuses their robot brains.

Turbo coordinated with Leader-1 and Scooter inside their hidden terrestrial base to monitor Cy-Kill’s ongoing operations on Earth, quickly discovering that the Renegades had formed a treacherous alliance with a rogue human NASA scientist named Dr. Braxis. Learning that the villains aimed to plunder a highly specialized, experimental energy source known as Sorium from a heavily guarded facility, Turbo mobilized alongside the Guardian squad to mount a preemptive defensive interception. The tactical deployment ran directly into an aggressive, sub-surface ambush when Cop-Tur utilized his spinning rotor blades to tear completely through their temporary shelter, destabilizing the immediate environment and forcing Turbo to rapidly deploy his vehicular transport configuration to shield A.J. Foster and his human companions from the collapsing debris. He navigated the chaotic wreckage to ensure a safe withdrawal, preserving the unit's strategic cohesion while Cy-Kill successfully finalized the theft of the Sorium crystal to fuel a massive, newly constructed global domination device. (Episode: Target Earth)

Later on, Turbo faced absolute isolation on Earth after Cy-Kill successfully activated the completed pulsar generator, projecting a massive hypnotic frequency wave that instantly placed Matt Hunter, Nick Burns, and A.J. Foster under total mental subjugation. Operating under the direct influence of the Renegades' electronic spell, the brainwashed human military personnel turned their weaponry directly against the remaining Guardians, forcing Turbo to exercise absolute restraint to avoid harming their mortal allies during a tense street skirmish. He coordinated a sub-surface infiltration cell alongside Scooter, utilizing his raw mechanical strength and armored plating to dismantle the automated external security grids of the main generator complex without triggering widespread lethal defenses. While Scooter successfully deployed complex holographic duplicates to completely disorient and scatter the guarding Renegade enforcers, Turbo breached the central control terminal and physically shattered the device's main matrix core, permanently severing the hypnotic link to reanimate his human companions and paving the way for a final, unified counter-offensive to liberate the planet. (Episode: Earth Bound)

Overview

Personality and attributes

In appearance, Turbo was a tall, blocky mechanical autonomous organism whose entire outer physical chassis was composed of a rigid, heavily reinforced crimson and silver alloy plating. In his primary humanoid configuration, his torso was exceptionally wide and angular, featuring a prominent, transparent glass windshield assembly built directly into his upper chest plate. His head was encased in a sleek, crimson protective helmet featuring a prominent silver faceplate and a completely unmoving jawline that housed a pair of glowing, artificial optical sensors that radiated a bright yellow illumination. His limbs were thick and highly industrial, with his broad shoulders incorporating the front wheel assemblies of his vehicular form and his lower legs featuring heavy, stabilizing structural plates. Following his adaptation to terrestrial transport designs, his primary alternate mode was that of a sleek, low-profile red concept supercar marked by aerodynamic contours and a large black spoiler fixed to his rear chassis. In this secondary form, his entire robotic frame seamlessly folded inward to conceal his limbs and facial features from view, allowing him to pass entirely for an advanced piece of human automotive engineering while operating on public Earth highways. (Episode: Battle for GoBotron)

Turbo is also one of the bravest Guardians, though he is sometimes rather stupid and headstrong, occasionally ending up badly injured on account of his heroics. He is one of Leader-1's most loyal troops, has a friendly "brawn versus brains" rivalry with comrade Scooter. He also has an ongoing rivalry with the Renegade Crasher – as a fellow sports car, she is usually his target of choice in battles. Like most Gobots, he could fly in robot mode, and fire energy bolts from his fists.

Powers and abilities

Turbo was a naturally generated mechanical lifeform belonging to the distinct cybernetic GoBot race native to the planet GoBotron, which inherently granted him a massive, non-organic skeletal structure and an extraordinary level of baseline physical endurance. His primary attribute was immense physical structural durability, possessing a highly resilient, heavily armored outer plating that allowed him to easily absorb heavy concussive impacts, close-quarters ballistic trauma, and high-velocity collisions without his primary internal processing cores sustaining damage. He possessed massive upper-body physical strength, enabling him to easily overpower ordinary human hazards, break through reinforced structural barriers, and engage high-tier hostile combatants in direct hand-to-hand tactical warfare. His unique internal engineering featured a highly advanced, integrated transformation matrix that allowed him to instantly alter his atomic layout, transitioning fluidly between his upright humanoid configuration and a compressed, high-speed concept supercar mode. In his vehicular configuration, he was capable of achieving extraordinary terrestrial speeds that allowed him to outrun standard combat vehicles and navigate hostile terrain with elite precision. Additionally, his forearms were outfitted with integrated energy blasters capable of projecting powerful concussive thermal beams to neutralize enemy fortifications mid-combat. (Episode: Battle for GoBotron)
