History

Ultra Humans was the term given to a group of superpowered beings that emerged on the planet Earth. Their origins were traced to an extraterrestrial spacecraft that entered the planet's solar system where an explosion caused its core to crash on the Moon. At the same time, a piece crashed on Earth's surface where the nanotechnology within it spread into the planet's atmosphere where it integrated itself and infected living DNA. Thus, when mankind emerged, their genetics came to possess the hidden nanotechnology within their bodies. The core which had fallen on the Moon gradually repaired itself and sent out pulses of energy to signal the main section of the spaceship; since humans now incorporated this alien technology in their genes, the pulses or "jumpstarts" had an unforeseen side-effect. Some humans developed superhuman powers; these individuals became known as Ultras.
