Usagi (Juuni Taisen)

Usagi is a male anime and manga character who features in Juuni Taisen.

Biography

Usagi (Japanese: 憂城, Hepburn: Usagi) was a mysterious male human whose past was large unknown except that he came to be a psychotic killer and assassin.

Usagi immediately kills Snake before any other warriors have even arrived. Later, he raises his hand to join Monkey's peace alliance, only to stay behind in the building as the floor collapses beneath the warriors. Using the revived body of Snake, he kills Boar and turns her into one of his zombies. He sends the zombified Boar off to survey an area, but she is completely torn apart by Chicken's swarm of birds. Later, after Chicken's death, Usagi forces Monkey and Rat out of the sewer by using his own swarm of dead birds. He sends Snake off to separate Rat from Monkey and kill him, while Usagi fights and eventually kills Monkey by using Snake's severed head to see behind him. He uses the zombie Monkey to retrieve Horse's dead body from a burning building, and takes his gem. He later uses Snake's body to get in a conflict with Tiger and Ox to distract them of him going after Dragon. Right before he gets to Dragon he has Monkey throw Snake's head up towards Dragon distracting him, than right after Monkey launches Rabbit in the air. While Dragon is holding the head Rabbit cuts him in half commanding him to go help his little brother taking out Ox and Tiger. Rabbit hides somewhere while Ox and Tiger take out the twins killing them for good. He reappears in front of Ox and Tiger saying nothing but ready for a fight. He charges at them and right before Ox and Tiger attack, Usagi bites through his tongue, committing suicide. After Ox and Tiger attack, Usagi's body is then split into multiple pieces. Because he killed himself, Usagi's necromancy works onto his own body and allows him to move and attack with his dismembered body parts, creating more mayhem for Ox and Tiger.

Overview

Personality and attributes

In appearance, Usagi was a young man with a fit build, he has messy white short hair which covered his left eye while his right eye is red with a black sclera. He is also shown to have sharp teeth. He wore a black rabbit-eared headpiece with one of the ears drooping over his left eye. He wears a collar with a black bow on his neck. Two black suspenders hooked across his shoulders supported his extremely tight and revealing black shorts. He also wore a large white rabbit tail on his back. His shoes were a pair of black dagger high heels.

A key trait in Usagi was his desire to make 'friends' with other people. According to him, he did this as a means of making friends with people by enslaving their undead corpses to his control. This trait not only encompassed his enemies but was his fondest desire to accomplish. When asked, he stated that his wish upon completion of the Juuni Taisen was to be friends with everyone in the world.

Powers and abilities

He used speed and agility to close in on his opponents.

He had his own special ability as Usagi was known to be a Necromantist. This effectively allowed him to re-animate corpses killed by him and them being directed by his will. Upon their death, he could retain the use of any of their natural abilities. Thus, he could effectively create allies from his slain enemies and overwhelm his foes with numbers. The corpses were capable of operating even if they lost limbs or critical organs as they were already dead. He could also make use of them in other roles such as using a severed head as a spy camera that when perched in a correct location allowed him to see any blindspots thus allowing him to respond to an attack. Usagi could even direct this ability onto himself thus turning him into a single minded undead creation that was fixated on completing his goal. In this case, he could face the destruction of his physical form but as long as the body parts remained he could use them to re-stitch his body together. It was known that bodies that were burnt were freed from his control and he could not re-animate bodies that were burnt. In addition, intense cold could freeze the body parts and be used to shatter them thus destroying any controlled corpses.
