History

Original

The Vicious Evil Network Of Mayhem (V.E.N.O.M.) was a criminal organization on Earth that was operated by Miles Mayhem. They were created following Mayhem's theft of the M.A.S.K technology which he used as a key weapon in the group's arsenal.

Miles Mayhem, Cliff Dagger, and Sly Rax used the Switchblade helicopter, disguised within a UFO-shaped shell, to steal a radioactive meteorite from a scientific research site. Mayhem used a laser to split the stone into three fragments, discovering that the divided pieces emitted deadly radiation capable of killing organic life. He subsequently arranged for Rax and Dagger to transport two of these pieces to separate clandestine meetings with international buyers to sell them as weapons. During a confrontation with M.A.S.K. forces, V.E.N.O.M. vehicles deployed their concealed weapon systems, including the Jackhammer's armored turret. Following the intervention of Matt Trakker and his team, the buyers were scared off, and V.E.N.O.M. failed to complete the transactions or retain the stolen meteor fragments. After their plans were thwarted and the Deathstone was recovered by their adversaries, Mayhem and his subordinates retreated to their secret headquarters to plan their next operation. (Episode: The Deathstone)

Miles Mayhem led Sly Rax and Cliff Dagger to an archaeological excavation site to steal a mystical arrowhead fragment composed of a unique green emerald. After successfully acquiring the artifact, the group traveled to a remote desert location where they joined the fragment with a matching piece to reveal the hidden location of an ancient alien spacecraft. V.E.N.O.M. utilized their transforming vehicles to reach the burial site and attempted to excavate the advanced vehicle for their own purposes. During the operation, they encountered M.A.S.K. forces and engaged in a skirmish, during which Mayhem used the Switchblade's weaponry to threaten the heroes. Despite their initial progress, the V.E.N.O.M. agents were ultimately forced to abandon the site when the alien spacecraft's automated defenses were triggered and the M.A.S.K. team intervened. Following the failure to secure the technology, Mayhem and his subordinates retreated from the desert and returned to their primary base. (Episode: The Star Chariot)
