History
The Vaygr were a humanoid race that inhabited the galaxy. They were originally tribes that travelled throughout the Vaygr Reaches where they conquered worlds that they encountered. These Crusades were conducted through fleets that travelled through sub-light drives where they managed to conquer and enslave worlds. In time, they came to became a notable force within the Galaxy with many of their warlords seeking out artifacts of the Progenitors. However, one of their number named Makaan came to power when he discovered the Third Hyperspace Core in the Hethlim Ice Fields. He then sought to claim the title of Sajuuk-Khar with many of the warlords fall under his banner thus creating a mighty fleet able to overwhelm worlds. With his army assembled, Makaan led the Vaygr on a march towards the Inner Rim worlds with the goal of targeting Hiigara. To aid him, he managed to convince Taiidan Imperialists to join forces with them as they had a hatred of the Hiigarans for their earlier defeat.
