- Veronica Benning was created by Len Kaminski and Kevin Hopgood where she made her first appearance in Iron Man v1 #292 (May, 1993).

- In Iron Man, Veronica Benning made an appearance in the 1990s animated television series where she was voiced by actor Jeannie Elias. The brown hair woman was shown as an employee of Stark Industries who had an attraction to Tony Stark. She was hired as a physiotherapist to help him after he suffered a spine injury and pushed him in his hydrotherapeutic exercises to strengthen his body. During the secession, James Rhodes arrived to inform that the Hypertech seminar had been missed but their discussion ended when Whirlwind arrived to attack Stark Enterprises in order to steal a microchip from the armory. The attack saw Veronica fly out a window and get knocked unconscious though she was relatively unhurt though Tony was worried that she could have died. She later attended the wedding of Stark and Julia Carpenter where she had tears in her eyes on seeing Tony marrying Spider-Woman.
