Biography

The White Sword of the Ivory Spire in X-Men: Red v2 #12.

The White Sword

With his personal army, he and the One Hundred Champions were sent to Amenth as an advance guard. Their actions in that hellish dimension brought their fellow mutants precious time and allowed them to gain an upper hand in the conflict against the daemons. (X-Men v5 #13) Following the battle, the White Sword disappeared with him being presumed to be dead. In reality, he survived deep within Amenth where he built the Ivory Spire that was a stronghold for himself and his warriors with them defending the land against any intruders. Countless daemons came to be crucified and hung up as proof to what happened to those that provoked the White Sword's wrath. (X-Men v5 #12)

As countless years passed, the White Sword and his army kept fighting the endless hordes of daemons, everyday dying only for him to resurrect his army to fight once again. This cycle of death and resurrection seemingly drove him mad and alienated him from his people. When Genesis and her army encountered him, he saw them as enemies and showed his former allies no mercy, forcing Genesis and what was left of her army to return defeated to Arakko. (X-Men v5 #12)
