History

Origin

The Wildcats

The individuals known as Spartan, Grifter, Zealot, Maul, Warblade, and Voodoo assembled in a city environment to intercept a group of extraterrestrial shapeshifters known as Daemonites. During the operation, Spartan utilized his cybernetic systems to coordinate tactical data while Grifter employed dual firearms to engage hostile targets in a high-rise building. Zealot engaged in hand-to-hand combat using bladed weapons to neutralize enemy combatants, and Maul increased his physical mass to provide structural support and offensive force. Warblade transformed his extremities into metallic blades to dismantle mechanical obstacles and incapacitate opponents. Voodoo utilized her sight abilities to identify Daemonites hidden within human hosts, facilitating targeted strikes by the rest of the unit. The group successfully prevented the abduction of a high-value individual and secured the immediate area from further extraterrestrial infiltration. Following the skirmish, the team members retreated to a mobile command centre to process intelligence and monitor global communication networks for additional Daemonite activity. (WildC.A.T.s: Covert Action Teams v1 #1) The individuals traveled to a private airfield to board a specialized aircraft for transport to a secondary location. During the flight, Spartan utilized his internal computer systems to brief the team on the biological and technological threat posed by the Daemonite leader, Helspont. The group arrived at a mountain facility where they engaged in a physical confrontation with a unit of Daemonite soldiers and a superhuman operative named Pike. Grifter utilized long-range firearms to suppress enemy movement while Zealot and Warblade engaged in close-quarters combat with bladed weapons. Maul altered his physical dimensions to breach the facility’s exterior defenses, and Voodoo monitored the area for cloaked or disguised hostile entities. The team members infiltrated the interior of the structure to intercept a plan involving the activation of a trans-spatial gateway. During the skirmish, Spartan sustained significant physical damage to his synthetic chassis, requiring the activation of a backup consciousness.
