Winter Knight

The Winter Knight, alias Sir Giles DeVere, one of the knights of King Arthur, armed with a sword that could generate intense cold. After the fall of Camelot in 530, he was entrusted with the Book of Mercury by Merlin. Attacked by many foes, including his draconic nemesis Faralanx and Bartelmew (later known as Troll, who sought to reclaim the Book), the Knight eventually settled down and founded the order that later became the Knights Templar. The Book was passed down to that order.
