History

Xanatos Enterprises was a powerful multinational corporation owned by David Xanatos. It holds interests in many business and scientific areas, including television, electronics and robotics (through the subsidiary Scarab Corporation), cybernetics, and cloning and genetic engineering (though subsidiary Gen-U-Tech).

Cyberbiotics seems to be the main rival corporation of Xanatos Enterprises, although Nightstone Unlimited has recently entered the field.

Xanatos initially posed as the Gargoyles' friend, convincing them to 'acquire' technology from his rival Cyberbiotics for him and ultimately attempting to destroy the gargoyles once their replacements, the Steel Clan, came online. The Steel Clan was defeated, however, and Xanatos was convicted for receiving stolen property
