He fell through numberless universes before finding himself in an alien cosmos completely foreign to his science-trained mind. From there, he uncovered new knowledge and managed to escape to Earth. (Marvel Feature v1 #1)

Personality and attributes

He was also known as the Scientist Supreme. (Strange Tales v1 #165)

He was said to be a cruel entity whose sinister brain had unlocked the secrets of the cosmos with the power of pure evil intelligence. (Strange Tales v1 #165)

Powers and abilities

The prime force at his command was his intelligence through which he unlocked the inner secrets of the cosmos. His scientific knowledge was as far above mankind as humanity's was when compared to apes. (Strange Tales v1 #164)

Among his creations included:

  • Voltorr : a titanic humanoid machine who wielded the Lightning of the Universe that bound or destroyed matter with such destructive power that he could move stars off course, shrivel mountains to dust and obliterate human life with ease. (Strange Tales v1 #165)
  • Omegatron : created from his new knowledge of science and magic where he modelled it on his face. Unlike his other robots, the Omegatron was able to speak and talk to others. The machine was built as a doomsday weapon to activate on his death. it was armed with weapons and could create hallucinations where upon activation it would explode the planet's nuclear arsenal to destroy it. His laboratory was a vast hall that was filled with weird machines and diabolic weapons. (Strange Tales v1 #165)
