History
The Young Masters were a team of young superpowered beings gathered together by Coat of Arms as an examination of a superheroism art project. (Dark Reign: Young Avengers v1 #3)
Initially, they began to operate under the name of Young Avengers until they were confronted by the actual heroes that used that name. (Dark Reign: Young Avengers v1 #1)
In the aftermath, they came to be unhappy with the decision of the Young Avengers leading to them taking the name of the Young Masters. This Melter contacting Norman Osborn and gaining the support of his Dark Avengers team. (Dark Reign: Young Avengers v1 #4)
