History
The Yozakura Family (Japanese: 夜桜家, Hepburn: Yozakura-ke) were an elite prestigious family of assassins and spies that operated in Japan. It was said that they traced their roots back to the ninja of the Edo period and it was well-known for producing various people with superhuman abilities.
Overview
In each and every generation, one person was born ordinary, but it was also the only one whose offspring will inherit the superhuman abilities of the family. Due to this, the ordinary child was considered the lifeline of the family and was traditionally named the head of the family with the rest of the family dedicating their strength and talent in order to defend them. The head of the family could be identified at birth through their hair color with each of them having a distinct indigo color to their hair.
A noted item among the family was the Cherry Blossom Ring (桜の指輪, Sakura no Yubiwa) that was worn by each of its members.
In the family mansion, the history of the Yozakura's was held within the Book of Buds (蕾の書, Tsubomi no Sho) that was an ancient book which contained the origins of the Family. The actual book was sealed inside an outer metal case, which could only be accessed through the dial at the center. The mechanism was made from the same metal as the Cherry Blossom Ring; and it only responds to Tsubomi's blood, body temperate, heartbeat, and volume of Someinine. If someone tried to force it open, it could trigger a trap that would bring down the entire Yozakura Mansion.
The family's exclusive hotline was the Black Cherry Blossom Telephone that could not be used to make outgoing calls except for delivery orders from the neighborhood ramen shop.
The current generation of the family resided at the Yozakura Mansion (夜桜屋敷, Yozakura Yashiki) that was a large mansion with many rooms and facilities for the family to work and train in. The mansion had a large forest garden around it.
