'''Astra''' is a female comic supervillain who features in [[Marvel Comics]]. ==Biography== Astra was a dark haired female [[Mutants (Marvel)|Mutant]] born in the modern age on Earth. She came to believe that Mutants were superior to Humans with them destined to rule the planet. It was said that she was discovered by [[Magneto]] and came to be among his first recruits as part of his strike force that was the [[Brotherhood of Evil Mutants]]. (X-Men v2 #86) For months, Magneto had utilised her teleportation talents to aid him where she spied on potential recruits such as a [[Scarlet Witch|pair]] of [[Quicksilver (Marvel)|twins]] in [[Transia]] and a [[Nightcrawler (Marvel)|blue-skinned demon]] in a Bavarian circus. In addition, he had her travel across the universe to steal technology from other civilizations such as the [[Rigellians (Marvel)|Rigelians]].
