Biography
Astra was a dark haired female Mutant born in the modern age on Earth. She came to believe that Mutants were superior to Humans with them destined to rule the planet. It was said that she was discovered by Magneto and came to be among his first recruits as part of his strike force that was the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. (X-Men v2 #86) For months, Magneto had utilised her teleportation talents to aid him where she spied on potential recruits such as a pair of twins in Transia and a blue-skinned demon in a Bavarian circus. In addition, he had her travel across the universe to steal technology from other civilizations such as the Rigelians. (X-Men Forever v1 #4) She claimed to had helped form the Brotherhood but was banished from their ranks by Magneto. (Magneto: Not A Hero v1 #2)
