'''Brad Vickers''' was the helicopter pilot for the [[STARS]] [[Alpha Team]], who was also an expert hacker. He was also a notorious coward, and his teammates jokingly called him Chickenheart. In July of [[1998]] his cowardice led him to flee in the 'copter when the rest of the team was attacked by a pack of [[MA-39 Cerberus|zombie dogs]], leaving [[Chris Redfield]], [[Jill Valentine]], [[Barry Burton]], and Alpha Team commander [[Albert Wesker]] behind. Later though, Brad overcame his fear and returned. He was able to fly the survivors to safety just before the [[Spencer Estate]] blew up. A few short months later in September, when Chris and Barry went to Europe for the purposes of putting a stop to [[Umbrella Corporation|Umbrella]]'s twisted experiments, Brad remained in [[Raccoon City]] with Jill, the two of them apparently having quit STARS This didn't seem to matter to Umbrella, who [[Nemesis (Resident Evil)|Nemesis]] to hunt down and kill all the STARS members who had escaped the destruction of the Spencer Estate, Brad included.
