Brad Vickers
Brad Vickers was the helicopter pilot for the STARS Alpha Team, who was also an expert hacker. He was also a notorious coward, and his teammates jokingly called him Chickenheart. In July of 1998 his cowardice led him to flee in the 'copter when the rest of the team was attacked by a pack of zombie dogs, leaving Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Barry Burton, and Alpha Team commander Albert Wesker behind. Later though, Brad overcame his fear and returned. He was able to fly the survivors to safety just before the Spencer Estate blew up.
A few short months later in September, when Chris and Barry went to Europe for the purposes of putting a stop to Umbrella's twisted experiments, Brad remained in Raccoon City with Jill, the two of them apparently having quit STARS This didn't seem to matter to Umbrella, who Nemesis to hunt down and kill all the STARS members who had escaped the destruction of the Spencer Estate, Brad included. Brad was the first to encounter Nemesis, and although he escaped briefly to warn Jill when he ran into her at the Bar Jack, the relentless assassin eventually caught up with the former STARS pilot and killed him right before Jill's eyes, skewering his head with one of its deadly tentacles.
