He was shown to had been born in Japan as a member of the Hamato clan where he was married to Tang Shen and had a daughter named '''Hamato Miwa'''. *In Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Hamato Yoshi appeared in the 2018 animated television series where he and Splinter were once again merged into the same character. Originally, he was a descendant of the Hamato clan who defeated the Shredder 500 years ago and prepared to fight the Foot Clan as well as prevent their masters return.
