'''Phosphorus Rex''' is a male comic supervillain who features in [[DC Comics]]. ==Biography== ===Origin=== Phosphorus Rex was a male human born on Earth who at some point attained the ability to manipulate fire where he would become a member of the [[Circus of Crime]]. After [[Mister Toad (DC)|Mister Toad]] was apprehended by the [[Gotham City Police Department]], Phosphorus Rex joins the Circus of Strange members '''Big Top''', '''Siam''', and a group of [[Professor Pyg]]'s '''Dollotrons''' in attacking the [[Gotham City]] Police Department. This resulted in four police officers getting killed and six others ending up injured. Phosphorus Rex and the rest of the Circus of Strange were defeated by [[Batman]] and [[Robin (DC)|Robin]]. Batman later interrogated Phosphorus Rex into giving him the identity of the Circus of Strange's leader. What Phosphorus Rex told Batman led him to confront the mad scientist known as Professor Pyg. (Batman and Robin v1 #2) ===Post-Flashpoint=== Following the Flashpoint, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events. Phosphorus Rex When Batman arrived at the institution to capture a corrupt guard, the guard released all of the inmates from their cells as a distraction. Along with the other inmates, Phosphorus Rex took part in the massive break-out attempt. The attempt failed as the numerous inmates were stopped by Batman and Nightwing and were forced to return to their cells.
