David (right), giving his son advice over dinner.

David DuWitt is the father of Willy. His wife is Sunshine. Both David and Sunshine were former hippies who could never quite let go of the 60's, and spent most of their time going to rallies. Despite this, David found the time over dinner to advise his son on how to handle school bully Doug McKenna. His immortal words, "Son, there are some things that are worth doing no matter what the cost" inspired Willy to remain in the Aniverse to help Bucky and his crew.
