Ichino

'''Ichino''' was a young Japanese man who along with his best friend Nita entered an endurance dance contest to win a sailboat. Both of them lost. Afterwards they met the enigmatic [[Ryota Kane]], who the two took to the marina to see the boat, which they mistook for the ''[[Yahlen]]''. A man named [[Yashimura]] claimed to be the boat's owner (but was actually a robber), and allowed the three to spend the night there. While they slept however Ryota took the ''Yahlen'' out to sea, where they were attacked and sunk by [[Ebirah]] and washed ashore on [[Letchi Island]]. On Letchi, Ichino had several misadventures, including meeting the island girl [[Daiyo]] and losing Nita when his friend was captured by the [[Red Bamboo]] for use as slave labor. Eventually Ichino was reunited with Nita and escaped from Letchi with the help of [[Mothra]] along with his friends and the rescued slaves, before a reactor overload set in motion by a [[Red Bamboo Scientist|Red Bamboo scientist]] destroyed the island for good.
