This Red Bamboo scientist worked in the Letchi Island heavy water factory building nuclear weapons for Red Bamboo. When Godzilla attacked the terrorists' base, Captain Yamoto ordered the scientist to set the reactor to overload, which he did before Yashimura and several escaped slaves could stop him. An explosion fatally pinned the scientist beneath some rubble, and, having a change of heart, he told Yashimura and the others how long they had to escape before expiring.
