Apool was one of Frieza’s lesser henchmen, a purple and yellow-spotted alien with a big head whose race was the most common among Frieza’s forces. Apool came to Namek with Frieza to help gather the Dragon Balls. When an injured Vegeta was placed in rejuvenation tank as part of Frieza's plan to heal him enough to talk and tell them where he'd hidden the decimated village's Dragon Ball, Apool was put in charge of monitoring his recovery. Upon recuperating and escaping, Vegeta killed Apool with a huge ki blast.
Comments
In the manga, Apool is the one who finds the Namekian village that had been destroyed by Vegeta for its Dragon Ball, but in the anime, it is Orlen who does this.
