Asmodeus was a demon in human form, masquerading as a park ranger, who was after an ancient book of Satanic incantations which was in the possession of Dr. Waterman. After failing to obtain the book, which fell into the hands of Waterman's student Dave, Asmodeus summoned forth a variety of horrific monsters to try and steal the book from Dave and his friends Jim, Susan, and Vicki, eventually transforming into his true form, that of a winged, batlike demon.
