Dust Darters were so named because they were around the same size as a speck of dust; barely visible to the naked eye. A swarm of Dust Darters would also appear as nothing more than a cloud of dust, which disguised them from potential predators. Dust Darters fed on the metallic protodermis of Karzahni's inhabitants, weakening the integrity of the metal imperceptibly over time.
