Leonard Kirk was Victor Von Doom's assistant. He remained loyal to Victor even after his transformation into Dr. Doom. After Doom was defeated by the Fantastic Four and "frozen" as a solid metal statue, Leonard shipped his boss to his home country of Latveria, presumably to find a way of reviving him.
