The Axe of the Dwarvish Lords is an ancient artifact-weapon allegedly created by the First King of all dwarves, Silvervein Moradinson. It was the symbol of the One Clan, the united clan of all dwarvenkind, until tragedy struck. To gain the Axe for himself, the dwarf Brassbeard slew his uncle, King Irontooth of Moradinson. This led to civil war, the shattering of the One Clan, and the loss of the Axe.
The Axe is endowed with powerful magical enhancements, including the ability to summon a mightier-than-normal earth elemental. However, any non-dwarf that uses it may become a dwarf themselves.
