Peter Jenkins was a close friend of George Hamilton who worked at Raccoon University as a researcher. He was also a close confidant of former Umbrella researcher Greg Muller, and the two co-developed Daylight as a means of combating the T-Virus. Peter soon began to suspect that Greg was not the nice guy he seemed, and that his colleague was secretly carrying out his own private research independant of their joint quest to cure the T-Virus. He attempted to contact George to alert him of the problem, but by the time George finally arrived at the university Peter was already dead. Exactly how Peter died is unknown, although it is likely that Greg found out about his partner's spying and killed him.
