Baltus Hafez was the curator of the British Museum of Natural History in London, England. He was also leader of a secret cult who worshipped Imhotep. It was Hafez who found Anck Su Namun reincarnated in Meela Nais and financed the excavation of Hamunaptra and recovered the body of Imhotep, using the Black Book to resurrect the former high priest. From then on Hafez was one of Imhotep's most loyal followers, and ended up being killed by the Scorpion King.
