Sheriff Drake Huston was the head of Ruggsville County Sheriff's Department. Don Willis contacted him about his missing daughter Denise, and Sheriff Huston sent two of his men - Lt. George Wydell and Deputy Steve Naish - to assist Willis in looking for his daughter.
Comments
What became of Sheriff Huston is unknown. By the time of the film's sequel, The Devil's Rejects, the role of Ruggsville's sheriff has been taken over by George Wydell's brother, John Quincy Wydell. Due to the fact Huston was shown as being a very elderly man it can be assumed he either died or retired during events that took place between the two films.
