  • Ta-Lo was created by Mark Gruenwald, Ralph Macchio, and Keith Pollard where it made its first appearance in Thor v1 #301 (November, 1980).
  • It was based on Tian of Chinese Myth.

In Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Ta Lo is a legendary mystic dimension, Xu Wenwu, leader of Ten Rings planned to invade Ta Lo, he is confronted by Ying Li, the protector of Ta Lo, the two fall in love and get married, the two have two children: Shang-Chi and Xialing.
