Katalyst 99 is a rare biochemical compound, purportedly found only in Megakat Biochemical Labs. It was sought after by Dr. Viper, who attempted to raid the lab with his army of giant bacteria monsters. Precisely what Viper wanted the chemical for is not known, although it was shown to be highly combustible and would explode if shaken.
