Centauri (Last Starfighter)

On Earth, Centauri was the CEO of Centauri Systems and the inventor of the Starfighter video games. In reality, the mysterious Centauri was a recruiting officer for the Star League, although by his own admission he was only in it for the money. It was Centauri who recruited Alex Rogan to the Star League, albeit against the young man's will. Severely wounded by a Zando-Zan hitbeast, the alien con-man seemed to die upon delivering Alex to the Star League headquarters on Rylos, but it was later revealed he'd merely gone into hibernation while his body healed.

Although Centauri's human form was that of an ordinary-looking elderly man in a suit and tie, he was in reality a humanoid alien with a nondescript, featureless face and glowing yellow eyes, although for unknown reasons he seemed to prefer his human guise and wore it often.
