Long-running adventure video game series on the various Nintendo systems, from The Legend of Zelda (1986, Nintendo Entertainment System) to the recent The Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess (2006, Wii). Also inspired a comic book from Valiant, a manga series serialized in Nintendo Power (based on the Super NES game The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past), and an animated series that was part of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, all of which are different continuities.
