Journeyman

Journeyman was a top-secret time travel project created by the year 2315, on Earth, by the government. Physicist and historian Elliot Sinclair was the head of the project, which aimed to create a time machine that would be used to explore history. The result, the Pegasus Device, was only used once after its completion in 2315; the government, fearful of misuse, shut the project down and dismantled the device.

However, the Pegasus was soon rebuilt in a secret facility, and the Temporal Security Agency became authorized to use it in the event that someone attempted to change history, to fix what had been altered.
