Jack Carter

Jack Carter was a member of the UBCS who was in the same unit as Carlos Olivera and Nicholai Sokolov. He was romantically involved with fellow commando Sam O'Neill. Carter died in the team's first battle with the zombies, after he became a zombie himself and O'Neill killed him by breaking his neck.
