Bob Perkins

Bob Perkins was the foreman of the Schiff-Immergut Lumber logging team in Olympic National Forest who were besieged by a strange swarm of glowing green insects. He butted heads with Dyer over what they ought to do; he was against Dyer's suggestion that all the loggers ought to simply make a run for it into the woods and hope that one or a few of them reached the road by nightfall. Nevertheless, when the rest of the loggers sided with Dyer, Perkins chose to go along rather than remain behind alone. He stumbled across an injured Dyer that night and attempted to help him, but both men were attacked and killed by the insects.
