Poke Ball

A Poke Ball is a commonly used device capable of capturing, miniaturizing, and storing Pokemon. The device must be thrown to capture wild Pokemon or release any Pokemon from within it, but a button is all that needs pushed to retrieve a tamed Pokemon. Improved versions of this device include the Great Ball and the Master Ball.
