Skorian

A notorious pirate, Skorian was an old "friend" of Ioz; the two had apparently sailed together sometime before or after Ioz had joined the crew of the Maelstrom. Ioz held a grudge against Skorian and his first mate, Swarr, since they had stolen buried treasure that he felt was rightfully his. The two ran into one another in Zoolie's gamehouse in Janda Town sometime after Ioz had left the Maelstrom and joined up with Ren, and immediately became hostile towards one another regarding the whereabouts of the treasure. They almost came to blows, but Ren and Zoolie broke the arguement up.

That night, Skorian and Swarr caught Ioz sneaking aboard their ship looking for the treasure, and to make sure their enemy did not escape they set out to sea with Ioz as their prisoners. Unfortunately for them they soon became prisoners themselves, as Garen had overheard their talk of treasure in Zoolie's gamehouse, and he sent Ratmore to drop a magic talisman aboard Skorian's ship, which shrunk it and then magically transported it into a bottle in Garen's castle.

Garen demanded Skorian's treasure, and although they initially refused Skorian and Swarr eventually gave it up. After Ioz got out by hiding inside one of the treasure chests (and was returned to normal size when Garen applied the antidote to the treasure), he first saved Ren, Tula and Niddler and helped take care of Garen, then went back for Skorian's ship. As thanks for saving him and his crew, Skorian agreed to an end of hostilities between him and Ioz, and they went their separate ways.
