Kurn

Kurn sits far to the north of the Tablelands of Athas, the private kingdom of the Sorcerer-King Oronis.

Kurn has almost no trade with the other city-states of the region, being (with the inclusion of New Kurn entirely self-sufficient, though Oronis has keeps a minimal amount of trade going (principally with Draj) to ensure a constant stream of information.

While the city has been cleverly structured to hide this fact, almost no-one still lives there, most of the population having been relocated to the hidden city of New Kurn, where Oronis is simply first among equals.
