Douglas Benson

Douglas Benson was a short, tabby feline worked as a financial executive for Khan Industries. Although eager to please his boss, Khan, Shere, Douglas was prone to making foolish investments, such as glow-in-the-dark sunglasses, and he was prone to volatile temper tantrums whenever people laughed at him or called him "Dougie," a nickname he'd hated ever since he was five years old. Fearing being fired for the sunglasses fiasco, Douglas wasn't exactly keen on his friend Walters dragging him "a really fun place" that turned out to be the popular island nightclub Louie's.

While there, though, Douglas realized that if he could buy the club from its owner, Louie, and assimilate it into Khan Industries, his troubles would be over. Unfortunately Louie, who was celebrating his fifth anniversary of owning the club, refused to sell, and Douglas was thoroughly humiliated as he tried fruitlessly to haggle with the orangutan. Ultimately, he and Walters left Louie's with a bowl of ice cream on his head. From there, determined to save his job and get revenge on Louie for making a fool out of him, Douglas did some research and discovered that Louie only had a squatter's deed that must be renewed every year, with the stipulation that Louie himself actually be present on the island at the time of renewal.

Forging Shere Khan's signature on some fake orders, Douglas returned to Louie's backed by Khan's elite private Air Force, determined to boot Louie off the island. But thanks to Baloo and Kit Cloudkicker, Louie was able to thwart Douglas' plans, and the unfortunate Douglas was fired shortly afterwards when Shere Khan discovered his treachery and flagrant misuse of his Air Force.
